Thank
Allah for rewarding our intentions Allah’s messenger
prayer and peace upon him said: “But your deeds depend on your intentions and
every one will be rewarded according to his intention”. Meaning that we will be rewarded according to
the intentions for the deed rather than the deed or its outcome. What made me think
about this is that on a number of occasions when we do something for the sake
of Allah the Highest, the outcome can be very different from what we intended,
or may be the exact opposite. Then, I
thank Allah the Highest that His reward is for the intention and not for the
deed or it’s outcome. Therefore, Muslim
brother and sister, if your intention for doing something is to please Allah or
obeying Him only, then do not worry whether at the end it was done of not
(after trying your best of course) or worry about it’s outcome. For your deed
might or might not be harmonious with Allah’s will, then only Allah’s will
shall prevail. Allah’s messenger prayer
and peace upon him said that Allah the Highest said: “ My slave, you want
something and I want another, and Allah does what He wants”. This is because Allah
the Highest will not render the believers good intentions and work in vain if
it does not meet with His Will, for Allah said: “ALLAH WILL NOT RENDER YOUR
DEEDS IN FAITH IN VAIN, FOR ALLAH IS MOST KIND Therefore, Allah the
Highest made the reward for our deeds according to our intentions and not the
deed itself or it’s outcome. We thank
Allah the Highest for His Mercy and Generosity. Dr.Ahmed Saafan
